preconstruction
The purpose of preconstruction is to set a project up for success in the construction phase. During this phase of the project, we focus on gaining an understanding of what is important to our clients so we can translate that information into meaningful suggestions and planning. Providing guidance on cost, constructability, phasing, and schedule are a few of the components we focus on, but the most important part of preconstruction is developing relationships that carry through construction and into the future.
design build
Whether it is new construction, renovations to an existing building, or a combination of various parts and pieces, eciConstruction has the experience and relationships necessary to oversee all aspects of the design and construction process. We recognize that most of our clients are not familiar with everything that is involved in the construction process, and that the design and permitting processes can seem daunting. Our design-build approach allows our clients to rely on a single source for the entire process. We coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the appropriate team members are involved as part of a collaborative team to achieve our clients’ goals.

Concept to Completion
The primary advantage of working with eciConstruction as a Construction Manager throughout the preconstruction phase is gaining a teammate who will provide real-time feedback in the early stages, when design changes are significantly less costly. As compared to a traditional design-bid-build model, we are able to investigate options and share valuable information to help our clients make informed decisions along the way, ensuring their schedule, budget, and functional needs are being met. We thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to be part of taking our clients’ dreams, watching them be transformed into a design, and then turning them into a physical space that they can utilize for years to come.
