Project Description
eciConstruction partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to deliver the Joint Bio-Medical Research facility at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland. The project included construction of an administrative facility, UPS system, fire sprinkler installation, a regional stormwater pond, site utility relocations, a loading dock, specialized foundations, and advanced building information systems. A striking feature of the building is its open three-story interior hallway, designed to bring natural light into the surrounding offices.
