Lebanon High School now has a multipurpose turf field ready for soccer, field hockey, and softball. eciConstruction handset 160 feet of curb to define the turf perimeter, installed and set the steel scoreboard columns, hung the scoreboard and poured two concrete pads for storage buildings. The scoreboard location posed a challenge requiring footers 11 feet deep in solid rock. We brought in a blasting crew to break the rock and installed two 2-foot-diameter pipe for the steel supports, and coordinated with retaining wall construction to ensure proper backfill. Grading adjustments were also needed as existing elevations didn’t align with the new field design. Close collaboration with the project engineer allowed us to find fast solutions and stay on schedule.
