Penn State University Air Rescue & Fire Fighting
State College, PA
Project Description
This 13-month project delivered a robust, high-performance facility, starting with a cast-in-place foundation and supported by masonry bearings, structural steel bar joists, and decking for long-term durability. Exterior finishes were selected for both form and function. These included radius metal roof panels, a combination of masonry veneer with ground face and split face textures, a metal radius feature over the ARFF bays, and standing seam roofing over the office wing - all chosen to withstand the elements while presenting a clean, modern profile. Interior finishes were designed with both utility and aesthetics in mind. The space features color-stained concrete flooring, interior ground face veneer, custom casework, solid-surface countertops, and industrial epoxy floors in the ARFF bays. Office areas were completed with commercial-grade carpeting for a professional and comfortable work environment. This project reflects our commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship, efficient execution, and long-term value.
