Lower Allen Township Emergency & Municipal Service Center
Located in Camp Hill, this project consisted of a new 47,000 square foot center that will house the Fire, EMS, Police and Township Offices. The project involved extensive site remediation to remove unsuitable soils, building demolition and site construction. The new building will be constructed on 10.6 acres which consisted of 8 separate parcels of property that are bounded by Carlisle and Gettysburg Roads, Pennsylvania Avenue and the Norfolk Southern Railroad. In 1736 the property was the site of the first permanent settlement on the West Shore. The building will have a combination of materials and designs to evoke the historical buildings that were once typical in Lower Allen Township. The $6.7 million dollar project was completed in March of 2008.
