Wrightsville Elementary School

This school is located in the Eastern York School District. The project entailed complete demolition of the original one-story 1936 school building that made way for the new two-story, 60,197 square foot addition. The remaining structure consisting of 20,334 square feet that was originally added in 1965 underwent a total renovation. The site was developed to include a separate parent/visitor access driveway, a bus drop-off area and additional student playground areas. This project had been designed as a “green” building with a minimum goal of attaining the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) silver-level certification. . .
